Overview

Mining, Woodcutting, Fishing, Agility, Smelting, Carpentry, Smithing, Tinkering, and Farming use the seven-step progression ladder and can reach level 100. Cooking currently has recipes through Level 35; T4-T7 Cooking is intentionally unfilled while its ingredient loop is reworked.

Tier Ladder

The XP multiplier is the base reward for an activity at that material tier. Every activity gives its full listed XP regardless of your current skill level.

Zones And Tools

Zones do not impose skill caps, so you can keep gathering Copper, Willow, or any other material forever. Mining, Woodcutting, and Fishing activities require their listed skill level and previous tier's tool, so you need a Copper tool for Iron activities, an Iron tool for Gold activities, and an Azure tool for Adamant activities. Agility activities are tool-free.

RefiningSmelting and Carpentry have T1-T7 recipes, including Furnace and Sawmill processing.
EquipmentSmithing and Tinkering have T1-T7 weapons, shields, armour, tools, jewellery, and accessories.
CookingRecipes currently reach Level 35. T4-T7 recipes are intentionally absent.

Ingredient Gaps

  • T5-T7 fish are gatherable, but do not have Cooking recipes yet.
  • T5-T7 logs do not currently produce mushroom by-products; the current Woodcutting mushroom drops end at T4 Maple.
  • Farming reaches T7, but Corn, Azure Root, and Adamant Bloom do not currently have a Cooking or Preserves Jar sink.

Progression Pace

For the exact level-by-level thresholds, see the Skill XP formula. Levels 0-90 use the standard quadratic curve. Levels 90-100 form a separate accelerating endgame band: 570,000 XP in total, exactly three times the current 190,000 XP band.

  • Every activity gives its full listed XP regardless of your current skill level.
  • Higher material tiers have stronger XP multipliers, so moving forward is faster without making early materials obsolete.
  • Lower-tier activities remain available forever for materials needed by recipes, tools, equipment, and the economy.
  • Higher-tier Mining, Woodcutting, and Fishing activities require their tier's skill level and the previous tier's tool; Agility does not require a tool.
